The article explores the relationship beetwen the roegenian concpet of "fund " and the territorial heritage conceived as a local endowments inherited in the long period by the co-evolutionary relationship beetwen anthpogenic aciton and natural environment. Such a relationship is focused to address the mentioned endowement as a leverage for self-relied and bottom up forms of local development and to design sustainable scenarios for regionally based settlements forms.
