Capacidad explicativa de la gramática meta-operacional en la variación diatópica de los operadores de respuesta afirmativa en español

The comparison among different varieties of Spanish regarding the use of operators of affirmative response is not a very explored field, although it is deemed to be a source of subtle communicative differences and peculiarities. It is indeed useful to describe such variations from the point of view of the teaching and learning of Spanish L2. Our paper moves in this direction, providing a contrast between the Argentine and the Spanish microsystem of affirmative response operators. We will analyze their variation and frequency in a corpus of Argentine and Spanish radio talk shows, where people can call the speaker in order to tell real life stories. The results,explained from a metaoperational point of view, show two different microsystems and a preference for using certain affirmation strategies in each corpus.
