La logica del complotto

Reference is habitually made to a rhetoric of conspiracy theories. Taking some reflections by Popper as its starting point, this article will instead try to test out the existence of a more stringent logic of conspiracy, understood as the indication of an underlying uncritical intellect. In order to achieve this, the paper identifies some relevant epistemological and methodological indicators: the rejection of contradictory evidence, the habit of solving puzzles, calculative thinking, preservation of prejudices, and speech in the form of monologues. It is possible to intervene against these indicators by means of education and the exercise of reflection with the aim of establishing a practice that is open, dialogic, and pluralistic.
