Rilievo e studi della vulnerabilità sismica della scuola “Maltagliata” a Pontedera

By the convention for the contribution to research, concerning the "survey and study of the seismic vulnerability of the school complex: Ghandi in via Pietro Nenni, known as" Maltagliata ", stipulated in February 2108 between the municipality of Pontedera and the University Architecture Department of the DiDA Studies of Florence, the project for the seismic survey and evaluation of the aforementioned school building was prepared. The multidisciplinary study, in fact, provided for the competences related to the metric-morphological survey of the building and an in-depth study of both the construction documents relating to its construction and a series of investigations and tests on materials and structures. The survey project prepared for this case study had to be able to provide a cloud of points with high resolution and very reliable, therefore it had to be designed with great care and subjected to certification procedures such as to guarantee the results of simulation tests , made on digital models taken from the survey.
