Abstract
The monitoring of the stone ocercoating of the Ammannati courtyard at Palazzo Pitti was performed through a combined operational practice that has seen, first of all, a careful visual analysis of the entire surface architectural, in order to verify the intrinsic characteristics of the constituent material and its possible vulnerability. The surface was then probed by a series of practical operations and empirical, aimed at verifying the strength and compactness of the material. These operations led to the realization of final graphic surveys of the state of conservation and of the framework cracking of stone material. The monitoring intervention, the investigations carried out and the comparison multidisciplinary data collected allowed to draw up a detailed, related monitoring plan to the mapping of the material state of the building and the state of degradation of the stone facing with identification of parts considered potentially subject to fall (mapped and documented with indication of morphometric data, classification of joints, evolutionary hypotheses etc.) and / or presenting potential conditions of vulnerabilityI documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
