Multicultural picture books and wordless picture books are sophisticated yet accessible specific sub-genre of literature that use both words and illustrations in their narrative constructions. They can be useful educational devices to create narrative empathy. After to examine the theoretical perspectives, the paper provides useful resources for practice.
