SMAG. SMArt Garden

The chapter addresses the relationship between design and technologies of the 4.0 technological revolution. A practical application demonstrates the possibilities that these technologies offer for the garden furniture sector. In particular, SMAG sets up a collection of products capable of monitoring air quality, temperature, soil moisture and activating an automatic irrigation system. The project presented demonstrates that design, in addition to applying technologies for related purposes, works by building the sense of the product.
