The article presents a synthetic but comprehensive analysis of PHerc 1067, focusing, more particularly, on the textual elements which contribute to ascribe the papyrus to the historical work by Seneca the Elder, and to identify the main topic of the book contained in that roll the events concerning the problematic succession of Octavianus Augustus.
