Entry about Decisional styles: Decisional styles can be considered as the response pattern exhibited by an individual in a decision-making situation. It can be determined by the decision-making situation, by the decision-making task and by the individual decision-maker. By contrast, Indecisiveness is a chronic inability to make decisions in a timely manner in different situations and domains of life. Decisional styles and indecisiveness can be considered as different constructs with respect to personality traits, even if some relations between these constructs emerged. The research regarding explanation of decisional styles and indecisiveness resulted particularly focused on psychological antecedents. Training was developed to enhance adaptive decisional styles and to reduce indecisiveness.
