The article takes into consideration medieval Armenian apocalyptic texts and their political significance. It investigates especially the reception of the Last Roman Emperor concept in Armenian apocalyptic and the creation of its counterpart in the figure of a Last Armenian King. This process most likely took place in Cilician Armenia.
