A first list of habitats neglected by the 92/43/EEC "Habitats" Directive was produced in addition to the Italian interpretation manual, and sent to the Italian Environment Ministry to propose their insertion in the list of habitats of European interest. This list is here updated with reference to the central Italian peninsula, with particular attention to the Apennines.
