This articles discusses the use of apocalyptic sources and an eschatological perspective in Jewish-Christian debates in Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages. It relies on the evidence of unpublished Armenian texts, both translated/adapted and original compositions in that language. It argues that this type of sources allow us to discern the transfer of ideas and topoi between various religions communities in Late Antique eastern Mediterranean societies.
