The article aims to highlight the essential role of the school in supporting the educational success of students with a migratory cultural background, reducing early school leaving and encouraging their socialization and social inclusion. Regarding the specific case of the students who faced the experience of family reunification, only if schools are prepared to welcome their growth experiences, characterized by «before» and «after», «there» and «here», they will be able to really support them in the processes of school and social inclusion.
