The edition is accompanied by a commentary which discusses the papyrological, textual, philological and philosophical issues connected with the text. The philosophical contents have to be related to the Stoic thought with certainty; the closest parallel detected for the whole reconstructed text is Seneca's Naturales Quaestiones II. 35-38..
