The Italian Roma, Sinti and Caminanti are still struggling for their minority rights: meanwhile, individual communities try to gain recognition at a local level. With the goal of linking social and living conditions of Roma people in Italy to the processes of educational inclusion and language valorisation in school, the present study focuses on intercultural experiences in and with Romani language carried out in the city of Florence. In order to illustrate them, a selection of bilingual educational resources in Romané and Italian, created in collaboration with community representatives and cultural-linguistic mediators, is presented and analysed herein.

Abstract
