Abstract
Stefano Righetti Painting and photography. Two ontologies of the portrait, between Simmel and Barthes Which ontologies of the image can we derive from the pictorial portrait and the photographic one? Georg Simmel’s analyses of Rembrandt and Roland Barthes’s of photography can give us a cue to answer this question. This essay proposes a reading based on the ontological difference that the photographic portrait, as read by Barthes, and the pictorial one, as interpreted by Simmel, establish with the dimension of time and space.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
