Le Memorie di Confalonieri dallo Spielberg tra politica, testimonianza e confessione

Il saggio prende in esame le Memorie scritte da Federico Confalonieri nel carcere dello Spielberg intorno al 1829, testo finora studiato solo dal versante storico, evidenziandone non solo l'importanza testimoniale, ma anche i pregi letterari, e in generale il ruolo ricoperto dalla letteratura per la generazione romantica protagonista dei primi moti risorgimentali. The essay examines the Memoirs written by Federico Confalonieri in the Spielberg prison around 1829, a text that has so far been studied only from the historical perspective. It highlights not only the testimonial importance of the work, but also its literary merits, showing the relevance of the role played by literature for the Romantic generation in the years of the first Risorgimento uprisings.
