The current study aims at providing a comprehensive picture of the many facets of the spatial distribution of the main indicators regarding the eco-nomic activities, water distribution, land use, water utilities, and poverty. Thus, our analysis represents a preliminary research that may provide the building blocks towards future, more sophisticated models able to include and integrate all these dimensions. This framework might support, for instance, the assessment of the effectiveness of the current “Long-Term Green Growth Policy” plan, approved in 2018 by the Colombian government, which sets the environmental and socio-economic pathways towards 2030.
