I libri di antiquaria della biblioteca Durazzo di Genova

The paper presents the antiquarian volumes in one of the most interesting 18th-century private libraries in Genoa, the Durazzo family book collection. The reference source for this collection is the manuscript “Catalogo per ordine di materie della Libreria del Sig.r Marchese Marcello Durazzo” kept at the British Library in London – and here for the first time tran- scribed in the part concerning the editions of interest – which contains a list of the forty- eight items referable to antiquarian materials. For each of these items we have searched for a match in the online catalogues and, where possible, we have identified the specimens still pre- served in the Genoese collections.
