Abstract
Sars-CoV-2 highlighted how relevant is the need to share biobank data and how helpful blockchain technology could be in allowing it to happen. So, even if legal issues need to be still disentangled about current EU (and EU Member States) regulation and blockchain technology. Concerning the first issue, not depending on the technology used, pandemic has shown up how unfit could be those rules concerning personal data protection for research to be effective. Simultaneously, emerged how research needs could affect collecting of data, with the heightening of data security to prevent loss of intellectual property; and, regarding Blockchain and law, how many regulatory uncertainties, and insufficient common applied standards limit the adoption of this technological solution.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
