Digital suvey for the valorization and conservation of the church of St. Mary in Leusë

The integrated survey methodology adopted in this research involved the use of structure-by-motion (SFM) methods supported by Laser Scanner technology to obtain precise and accurate data. The acquired database allowed the adoption of some considerations on the methodology for the realisation of useful drawings to illustrate the conservation and decay of the Church of St. Mary in Leusë. It also allowed to compare the different phases of the restorations carried out over the years and evaluate their actual effect. Furthermore, in addition to being de facto “the memory” of the monument, the drawings developed constitute an important bibliographic document for future studies and in-depth analyses.
