By means of four case studies examined in different areas of Italy, the authors reflect on the gap existing today in terms of female and ethnic-cultural integration, and on its consequences in terms of social well-being and BV. On the grounds of the observations coming from these case studies, instruments and public policies are put forward to foster integration and inclusion.
