Abstract
The progressive spread of telemedicine is contributing to reshaping the innermost features of medical practice, with significant repercussions on the organisational patterns of contemporary healthcare systems. Thanks to telemedicine, a number of healthcare services can be moved from the hospital to primary care centres – or in some cases, to the patient’s home. This means reducing the overall length of hospitalisation as well as avoiding unnecessary patient transfers in order to access specialist services.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
