Haemophilic arthropathy is currently the most common complication of haemophilia. It’s characterized by a progressive arthrosis, together with loss and degeneration of articular’s function. From haematological, orthopedic and rehabilitation point of view, these type of patients are difficult to treat: it depends on the high peri-operative risk and on the complications that usually occurs. Nowdays, thanks to the modern haematologicals therapies and the new knowledge acquired in the orthopedic management of these patients, a multidisciplinary center can treat the haemofilics with good results, comparable with the population who suffers from arthritis. These results are achieved thanks to the overall management of haemofilic patient, through the choice of modern, modular, high performance bioactive surface prosthetic implants, up to the optimization of resources, in a specific diagnostic and therapeutic care pathways and protocol.

Abstract
These results are achieved thanks to the overall management of haemofilic patient, through the choice of modern, modular, high performance bioactive surface prosthetic implants, up to the optimization of resources, in a specific diagnostic and therapeutic care pathways and protocol.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
