Tuscany is one of those Italian regions in which ECEC services have been able to create a distinct and complex educational system for ages 0 to 6. The so-called “Tuscany Approach” help to ensure the quality of ECEC services: the care dedicated to educational spaces, to documentation, to the integrated system of services, to the “zone-pedagogical coordination”, to the continuity in education for the group of ages 0 to 6, and to family education.
