Social cooperatives that employ vulnerable people are a significant reality that Italian labour rules have yet to recognise. The study is the result of research on a large sample of these cooperatives and on the network contracts (contratti di rete) they have signed. In particular, the study examines the potential and requirements for the use of network contracts (contratti di rete) and the institutions they envisage, such as facilitated posting of workers and co-employment, with the specific aim of favouring the employment of vulnerable people. The research aims to identify the necessary methods to stabilise and strengthen relationships between social cooperatives for work integration and private companies.
