Forthcoming Interdisciplinary Research and Design on Endangered Heritage: the Results of Summer School 2021

The variety of tangible Heritage in Europe comprises a wide field of knowledge and intervention purposes, considering history, identity, and policy of sites. The extension of Built Heritage, from single buildings and monuments to wider historical centres and cross-national landscapes, faces a required variety of technical and social expertise necessary for its preservation and protection. Interdisciplinarity between technical and social approaches has guided the contents and working tables of the International Summer School 2021 “Digital Strategies for Endangered Cultural Heritage: Forthcoming INTERSPECIES”. The collection of results has shaped an Handbook focused on Strategies and Creative Interdisciplinarity for the Digitization and Safeguard of Endangered Heritage.
