The aim of our research was to define a methodological approach useful for sustainable lighting design, vision and perception quality, new visual paths and perceptive emotional experiences, in historic building. Ermanno Scervino’s boutique in Florence was the case study. LED systems integrated with control devices for dynamic regulation were custom designed using COB and DALI with minimal invasiveness, in accordance with protection and preventive conservation requirements of building and exhibited artefacts/fabrics. A biological system collocation allowed the dynamic control of natural light for thermal and luminous aspects. Information communication technologies (ICT) were connected to the dynamic control systems for natural and artificial light, and Gaze system allowing a new lighting project for museum and exhibition, fruition and sale, respecting the physical distancing, but recovering the historical philological value of the space and offering completely new visual, perceptive and emotional experiences.

Abstract
The aim of our research was to define a methodological approach useful for sustainable lighting design, vision and perception quality, new visual paths and perceptive emotional experiences, in historic building. Ermanno Scervino’s boutique in Florence was the case study. LED systems integrated with control devices for dynamic regulation were custom designed using COB and DALI with minimal invasiveness, in accordance with protection and preventive conservation requirements of building and exhibited artefacts/fabrics. A biological system collocation allowed the dynamic control of natural light for thermal and luminous aspects. Information communication technologies (ICT) were connected to the dynamic control systems for natural and artificial light, and Gaze system allowing a new lighting project for museum and exhibition, fruition and sale, respecting the physical distancing, but recovering the historical philological value of the space and offering completely new visual, perceptive and emotional experiences.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
