Every copy, whether manuscript or printed, implies a model and a decision of the copyist or printer in front of it. It has been observed that every new transcription implies a compromise between the spontaneous imitation of the antigraph and the needs of "formatting" the apograph in a new and usually different from the model. The cases presented show how copyists are profoundly influenced by the model before them in their choice of material features.

Abstract
Every copy, whether manuscript or printed, implies a model and a decision of the copyist or printer in front of it. It has been observed that every new transcription implies a compromise between the spontaneous imitation of the antigraph and the needs of "formatting" the apograph in a new and usually different from the model. The cases presented show how copyists are profoundly influenced by the model before them in their choice of material features.File in questo prodotto:
