The paper examines the dynamics of the monitoring process of public-private partnership (PPP) in the healthcare sector in Albania. The case study is based on the data collected from the analysis of the contracts signed between the parties, different reports and the documentation collection with regard to the management of this contract. The result shows that during the pandemic period, the implementation of PPP became even more important for a country facing a global emergency regarding healthcare. Findings also show a need to adopt a long-term strategy in the field of healthcare as well as applicable standards for the monitoring of the implementation procedures
