Abstract
The use of several types of writing presupposes the perception of their diversity, both by the writer and the reader. Multi-writing, which is a phenomenon peculiar to 15th-century Italy, allows us to see what scribes understood and thought about the inner workings of writing when they implemented an imitative process. Imitation is in fact the fundamental driving force behind learning to write or defining a personal style, at any level, from the most elementary to the highest level and the comparison between model and result can reveal to us what the writers judged to be pertinent, essential to the achievement of the result| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
