In the Ebla administrative texts written under both kings Ìr-kab-da-mu and Iš11-ar-da-mu, childbirths were recorded using forms of walādum spelled not syllabically but using the Sumerograms that were considered suitable to refer to them. In this article, the authors analyzed the terms shag4-zu and tu-da and, from a prosopographical point of view, the women involved.
