Abstract

Climate changes and extreme weather events have been aggravating undernourishment. In that scenario, strategic food production systems like aquaculture have been reinforced. This study aimed to explore how researchers have followed the "Blue Transformation" since the mid-twentieth century using a Text Mining (TM) approach. A literature search using Scopus® was conducted to identify the peer-reviewed articles published in English between 1960 and 2023. “Sustainable aquaculture”, “aquaponic”, “integrated multi-trophic aquaculture”, “biofloc systems”, and “recirculating aquaculture systems” were used for the literature research. TM combined with Topic Analysis (TA) was utilized to extract information from the identified papers.
