The paper discusses some passages from Aristotle's Posterior Analytics and Categories in which the testimony of two papyri (P.Berol. inv. 5002 = CPF I.1* 24.1, P.Oxy. 2403 = CPF I.1* 24.2) poses interesting problems both in view of the relevance of the philosophical content and from a methodological perspective.
