Among the many young Jews forced to leave the country that had disowned them, he followed in his father’s footsteps as a fervent Zionist and moved to Israel, where he was one of the main drivers of the ’italkim community. After the war, he spared no effort in restoring Jewish spiritual life in the “bel paese“, through his activity as a rabbi and teacher.
