This work analyzes the speech of 4 schizophrenic patients (Dovetto, Gemelli 2013) according to L-AcT (Cresti 2000; Cresti, Moneglia 2005; Moneglia, Raso 2014) and investigates their atypia compared to non-pathological speech. Through the text-sound alignment and the utterances identification, specific linguistic measures (MLU, Informational complexity and disfluency phenomena such as retracing and pauses) has been derived, revealing common features of schizophrenic patients. Results provide some insights on the monotony of pathological speech, such as scarce information structure and fluency reduction.

Abstract
This work analyzes the speech of 4 schizophrenic patients (Dovetto, Gemelli 2013) according to L-AcT (Cresti 2000; Cresti, Moneglia 2005; Moneglia, Raso 2014) and investigates their atypia compared to non-pathological speech. Through the text-sound alignment and the utterances identification, specific linguistic measures (MLU, Informational complexity and disfluency phenomena such as retracing and pauses) has been derived, revealing common features of schizophrenic patients. Results provide some insights on the monotony of pathological speech, such as scarce information structure and fluency reduction.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
