La “Grande generazione”. I contrasti generazionali nei film ungheresi della transizione

La transizione dal sistema socialista al nuovo corso democratico, in Ungheria, comportò l'instaurazione di una serie di cambiamenti in seno ai rapporti tra le diverse generazioni del periodo: il saggio vuole illustrare come alcuni registi particolarmente attivi all'epoca che precede l'ultimo decennio del Novecento, ovvero Ferenc András, Péter Bacsó, Géza Bereményi, Péter Gothár e Péter Tímár siano riusciti a descrivere sogni, illusioni e disillusioni che attraversarono gli anni Ottanta, condizionando anche i rapporti tra generazioni nel contesto della società magiara. *** The transition from the socialism to the new democratic course in Hungary brought about a series of changes in the relationships between the different generations: the essay aims to illustrate how some filmdirectors, who were particularly active in the period preceding the last decade of the twentieth century, namely Ferenc András, Péter Bacsó, Géza Bereményi, Péter Gothár and Péter Tímár, managed to describe the dreams, illusions and disillusions that crossed the 1980s, also influencing the relationships between generations in the context of Hungarian society.
