Video LIS per raccontare il patrimonio culturale fiorentino

Il turismo culturale è un settore in continua evoluzione, che richiede un approccio sempre più inclusivo e sostenibile. Le persone con disabilità uditive affrontano non pochi problemi quando svolgono attività turistiche o visitano luoghi, siti d’arte e musei. Il contributo descrive il progetto realizzato tra il Laboratorio Foto-Video del Dipartimento di Architettura di Firenze, l’Associazione MUS.E di Firenze; tale ricerca si inserisce nel contesto del turismo inclusivo e sostenibile, proponendo soluzioni tese a superare le barriere della comunicazione per le persone con disabilità uditive. Nei short video dedicati alle persone con ridotte capacità uditive, alle immagini si affianca il narratore che racconta nella lingua dei segni i monumenti visitati. Questo approccio non solo ha un impatto positivo sulla vita delle persone con difficoltà uditive, ma rappresenta anche un’opportunità per valorizzare il patrimonio culturale e promuovere lo sviluppo economico del territorio. Cultural tourism is a constantly evolving sector which requires an increasingly inclusive and sustainable approach. People with hearing disabilities face numerous challenges when participating in tourist activities or visiting places, art sites, and museums. The contribution describes the project carried out between the Photo-Video Laboratory of the Department of Architecture in Florence and the MUS.E Association of Florence. This research is part of the context of inclusive and sustainable tourism, proposing solutions aimed at overcoming communication barriers for people with hearing disabilities. In the short videos dedicated to people with reduced hearing, the images are accompanied by the narrator, who describes the monuments visited in sign language. This approach not only has a positive impact on the lives of people with hearing difficulties but also represents an opportunity to enhance the cultural heritage and promote the economic development of the territory.
