In the context of increasing longevity, ageing is no longer a private matter but a collective condition that calls for renewed pedagogical and relational responses. This introduction explores the intersection of care and education, reframing fragility as a space for relational and symbolic regeneration. Drawing from European frameworks of active ageing and supported by psychological research, the text promotes care as a generative, shared, and educational practice. It highlights the importance of relational quality, empowerment, and intergenerational connections in supporting older adults well-being.
