Digital Waste Passport. Design a cross-sectorial platform of services to facilitate textile SMEs of Made in Italy in achieving traceability and circularity

The research addresses the need for SMEs in the textile and fashion industry, particularly those representing Made in Italy, to align with new European regulations on traceability and circularity. The research aims to propose an ecosystem of services to help SMEs remain competitive by promoting traceability at the End-of-Life stage and expanding cross-sectoral market opportunities for using recycled materials. In particular, the opportunities offered by the Digital Product Passport and traceability technologies to support the transition to circular supply chain and recycling scenarios had been explored.
