The project for the implementation of the Parco Agricolo della Piana, promoted by the Tuscany Region and developed by the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence, is conceived as an experimental laboratory for the application of co-design practices in territorial planning. Through a Service Design approach and a systemic vision of the concept of territorial heritage, the project addressed the challenges of sustainably managing a complex peri-urban area between Florence and Prato, highly urbanized yet still characterized by a significant agricultural presence. The experimentation involved eight municipalities and a heterogeneous network of stakeholders—institutions, farmers, associations, and citizens—in a twophase process: shared exploration and participatory definition of pilot projects. Both analog and digital tools were adopted to facilitate dialogue among different actors and to foster an integrated vision of the Park as an ecological, productive, and cultural infrastructure. Building a stakeholder map and a territorial values map represented crucial steps in identifying local resources and possible synergies, while interdisciplinary thematic workshops made it possible to validate and refine the emerging proposals.
