The article analyzes the first complete Ukrainian translation of Dante's "Divine Comedy", that is the translation by Jevhen Drob'jazko. Drob'jazko's translation marked a significant phenomenon of Ukrainian literature, the pinnacle of the Ukrainian Soviet "Dante project".
