The contribution focuses on the historical and territorial interpretation of a castle located in the Almonacid Valley, within the framework of PROMETHEUS, an EU-funded project carried out between 2019 and 2023. Through the analysis of its architectural features and landscape context, the study contributes to the understanding of fortified heritage along the Jaime I cultural route in the Valencian territory.
