We discuss the rich physical meaning of Fröhlich entropy. Namely, we discuss how it can be used to pinpoint three different features of a given dielectric, i.e. the dipolar orientation disorder, the global state-of-order, and the level of stability of a given phase. Specific validity hypotheses and practical uses are also considered.
