The volume brings together a series of contributions devoted to the subject of catastrophe insurance policies, examined in their current regulatory configuration and in light of prospective extensions to non-commercial real estate assets. The analysis, proceeding from an examination of national legislation and the corresponding application practices, situates such policies within a comparative framework alongside the principal foreign experiences, exploring the various models of risk management, with particular emphasis on public–private risk-pooling mechanisms and state support instruments. Taken as a whole, the contributions bear witness to the exchange of views developed on the occasion of the conference held on 5 June 2025 at the University of Padua, promoted by the Severo Galbusera Foundation, and subsequently expanded through further opportunities for study and in-depth analysis.

Abstract
The volume brings together a series of contributions devoted to the subject of catastrophe insurance policies, examined in their current regulatory configuration and in light of prospective extensions to non-commercial real estate assets. The analysis, proceeding from an examination of national legislation and the corresponding application practices, situates such policies within a comparative framework alongside the principal foreign experiences, exploring the various models of risk management, with particular emphasis on public–private risk-pooling mechanisms and state support instruments. Taken as a whole, the contributions bear witness to the exchange of views developed on the occasion of the conference held on 5 June 2025 at the University of Padua, promoted by the Severo Galbusera Foundation, and subsequently expanded through further opportunities for study and in-depth analysis.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
