This chapter deals with some basic concepts on urban and energy form. In this framework is consideed as urban form the interaction beetween open space, streets and buildings while energy form is considered the interaction beetween buildings, building material, energy use, consuption and production. The integration of energy aspects within urban landscape form is essential to define the ecological and sustainable design.
