The purpose of this chapter is to provide some information about the main indicators on whic youth public policies act, promoted by Regional Governments and aimed at encourageing the transitions from school to the autonomy of adult life. We also took into account data on the evolution of the active and inactive population, employed and unemployed in each of the regions included in the study. We have examined the dynamics in the course of a decade (2000-2009), taking advantage of the Eurostat databases.
