The aim is to describe and evaluate the project “NoTrap” developed and partly validated in previous studies carried out in Italy, analyzing the different components according to the international standards of evidence based on prevention science research (Flay et al, 2005). In particular, 30 1st grade classes of secondary high schools (N=675; 53.6% male) in Tuscany participated in the project and 12 classes in the control group (N= 952 students). The first part of this chapter will describe the translation of the theoretical intervention methods into practical applications. The final intervention consisted of the following steps: 1) Launch of the project and awareness developing 2) Teachers training; 3) Day training for peer-educators on face-to-face and cyber communication; 4) Interventions of online peer educators in the forum and facebook domain 5) Interventions in there own classroom; 6) Revision of the school rules and guidelines for a safer ICT use, and bullying and cyberbullying prevention (teachers and students together). The second part of this chapter will describe the intervention effects concerning decreasing bullying, victimization, cyberbullying and cybervictimization. The chapter will also highlight online activities carried out in the project through the web page and the Facebook group such as the ways peer educators animated and moderated the web forum, how they managed new threats online and how they supported some of the help requests posted online.
