The chapter deals with the contributions that the IMP thinking and the IMP research can give to the topic of regional development policies. By regional development policies we refer to those actions implemented by the public actor to enhance the development of specific regional areas. The concept of a regional area can be considered at both a macro level (e.g., large regions like the European Union) and the micro level (e.g., a smaller region like a cluster or technological park). The object of attention of regional policies are thus specific market contexts.

Abstract
The chapter deals with the contributions that the IMP thinking and the IMP research can give to the topic of regional development policies. By regional development policies we refer to those actions implemented by the public actor to enhance the development of specific regional areas. The concept of a regional area can be considered at both a macro level (e.g., large regions like the European Union) and the micro level (e.g., a smaller region like a cluster or technological park). The object of attention of regional policies are thus specific market contexts.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
