The paper describes the achievments of Department of Industriale Engineering (University of Florence, Italy) staff in the field of tailor-made hand exoskeletons design. Designed exoskeletons have been built and compared with existing solutions demonstrating their potential in overcoming some limitations in terms of both performance and cost.
